PLS Logistics expands to Jacksonville
PLS Logistics Services, a Cranberry Township, Pa.-based logistics and truck brokerage services provider, will open an office in Jacksonville, Fla. on May 31.
“We feel Jacksonville, with its growing port operations, is a good fit with PLS’ industrial shipper and carrier base,' said Greg Burns, the company's chairman.
The Jacksonville office will include nine employees from the firm’s Pennsylvania headquarters, combined with eight initial hires from Jacksonville. PLS expects to hire another 100 employees from the Jacksonville market over the next two years.
