Politi joins Metro Group board
Metro Group Maritime said Don Politi, former director of credit and collections for Hapag-Lloyd is joining its education and training advisory board.
“Don is the dean of maritime collectors and will be a tremendous asset to our firm,” said Marcus Arky, general counsel of Metro, a New York-headquartered receivable management and debt recovery company that focuses on the maritime and transportation industry.
Politi will advise Metro on better methods of educating and training its own staff as well as the staff of steamship lines.
