Curry was cruise services manager at Port Everglades. In her new role at Port Canaveral, she will be responsible for personnel, vessel traffic coordination, and maintenance of port facilities, roads, and parks.
Port Canaveral said Curry will become the first female in its
53-year history to run its largest department, and believes she will be the first women to hold the job at any port in the United States.
