Port Canaveral to break ground on new facility

Port Canaveral, Flagler Global Logistics and local dignitaries will hold a groundbreaking ceremony July 27 for its new, 246,240-square-foot facility designed to be a logistics center and warehouse.

Port Canaveral, Flagler Global Logistics and local dignitaries will break ground on the port’s first multimodal inland port facility at the Titusville Logistics Center July 27, Port Canaveral said.
The 246,240-square-foot facility, scheduled for completion in early 2016, will facilitate the growing cargo business in North Brevard, Fla.
The facility will have a 30-foot clearance, multi-tenant flexibility, office space, rail dock doors and truck tailgate docks.
Flagler Global Logistics is developing and constructing the building.
“Situated adjacent to Space Coast Regional Airport and in close proximity to Port Canaveral, the Titusville Logistics Center’s strategic, rail-served location combined with easy access to US1 and I-95 and more than one mile of Florida East Coast Railway frontage will provide a surge for the local economy and position Port Canaveral and Brevard County as a major national and international logistics hub,” Port Canaveral said in a statement.
