Port forum April 10 in Philadelphia    The Seamen’s Church Institute of Philadelphia and South Jersey will present a conference on “The Role of Labor and Management in Successful Port Development” on April 10.
   The forum precedes the Spirit of the Port Award luncheon honoring Uwe Schulz, president of the Ports of the Delaware River Marine Trade Association, and is sponsored by the United States Maritime Alliance.
   “With the potential development of a world-class super port right here in our region, we believe this panel of distinguished experts can impart information valuable to all in our community,” said the Rev. James von Dreele, executive director of SCI Philadelphia. “Our agency is preparing for the prospect of burgeoning business in the region and the many additional seafarers who will need the services we provide for ships visiting the ports of the Delaware River.”
   The meeting will be held 8:30-11:15 a.m. at the Sheet Metal Workers Union Hall, 1301 South Columbus Blvd., Philadelphia.
