Port Logistics, Coastal Logistics partner

   Port Logistics Group, a provider of gateway logistics services, and Coastal Logistics Group, with operations in the Southeast, will partner to extend their geographic reach.
   The partnership allows the pair to offer logistics services at all major U.S. import and export gateways, the companies said in a statement.
   Before the partnership, Port Logistics operated more than 4 million square feet of warehouse space in and near the ports of New York/New Jersey, Los Angeles/Long Beach, and Seattle. Coastal Logistics said it operates in Savannah, Norfolk, and Memphis.
   The companies will co-market their services to regional and national clients. Port Logistics has a focus on retail, apparel, and general merchandise, while Coastal Logistics has traditionally served clients in the energy, automotive, aerospace, industrial, and general commodity industries.
