Port of Busan to use Savi Network service
Savi Networks said South Korea's Port of Busan has agreed to use its SaviTrak information service for cargo security and management.
The service will capture information including bar codes, sensors, passive and active radio frequency identification and global positioning satellite locations and generate real-time reports and exception-based alerts to each customer, including routes, missed shipments, or environmental conditions, and includes planning and analytics functions.
SaviNetworks is a joint venture between the Savi Technology subsidiary of Lockheed Martin and Hutchison Port Holdings.
