Port of New Orleans names Gallwey COO
The Port of New Orleans Tuesday named Patrick Gallwey as its next chief operating officer.
Gallwey has been with the port since 1980 and has been executive assistant for administration to Gary LaGrange, port president and chief executive officer, since May 1998.
Gallwey will replace Dave Wagner, who is retiring in June. Wagner has been COO since 1989 and has been in the ports and transportation industry for 40 years, including time as director of the port of Baltimore and deputy secretary of transportation for the State of Maryland.
