PORT OF VANCOUVER MAINTAINS RECORD PACE
The Port of Vancouver said it saw record shipments of containers during the first five months of 2002, reaching 522,840 TEUs, up 15 percent over the same period in 2001.
The Canadian port also set a single-month record, handling 117,216 TEUs in April.
