GOCT is the second container terminal in Nansha, the Port of Guangzhou's deepwater container facility, and the only such set of terminals in the western Pearl River Delta.
GOCT, a joint venture between the Guangzhou Port Group, COSCO Pacific and APM Terminals, opened its first two berths in December 2006, but Saturday marked the opening of the remaining four berths of the project.
