Deutsche Post DHL reports 71% drop in profit
Deutsche Post DHL said it had second quarter net income after subtracting minority interests of 66 million euros ($93.7 million), 71 percent less than in the same 2008 period.
UP reports 12% profit dip
Union Pacific Railroad said it had net profit of $468 million in the second quarter, 12 percent lower than the same 2008 period.
Hub: Earnings off 45%, but still “respectable”
Hub Group Inc. said it had second quarter net profit of $8.3 million, 45 percent less than the $14.97 million earned in the same 2008 period.
