PROGISTIX PICKS G-LOG
Progistix-Solutions Inc., a third-party logistics provider in Canada, has contracted with G-Log, a U.S. provider of transportation and logistics software, to make Progistix’s internal systems more efficient by using G-Log’s flexible, scalable Internet technology.
G-Log’s logistics and transportation software will allow Progistix to offer its customers integrated, end-to-end supply chain services that handle two million order lines a year, according to Richard Tremblay, vice president, transportation management, for Progistix-Solutions.
Users of G-Log’s technology include DuPont, Exel, Crowley Logistics, Cendian, and The Spiegel Group.
G-Log has its headquarters in Shelton, Conn. Progistix-Solutions is based in Toronto.
