Project forwarder signs up Wangfoong in South China Freight forwarder Project Professionals Group has signed Hong Kong-based Wangfoong Logistics for representation in South China, the company said Thursday.
   PPG, a specialist in project freight forwarding, now has a network of 125 members in 89 countries.
   Wangfoong has heavy lift capabilities on land and sea, as well as specialized equipment, like floating cranes with lifting capabilities of up to 500 tons, said Kevin Stephens, PPG general manager. The Hong Kong company also regularly deals with road transportation for outsized and heavy cargo and breakbulk loading and discharging of barges and vessels. It operates its own barges and vessels for container movement as well as heavy project shipments operates its own river port terminal.
