ProTrans opens new South Carolina, Arizona locations

One of the new locations provides 230,000 square feet of space, while the other is a 50,000-square-foot facility, according to Indianapolis-based third-party logistics provider ProTrans.

Indianapolis-based third-party logistics provider ProTrans has opened two new locations in different parts of the country.
First, the firm’s Greer, S.C. facility has moved to the GSP International Logistics Park at 410 Global Commerce Dr.
The new location, according to ProTrans, provides 230,000 square feet of space, the new facility features over 80 dock doors and two level dock doors, as well as a lighted fenced truck court with guard-controlled access.
ProTrans Greer is situated on about 20 acres with immediate access to the South Carolina Inland Port (SCIP), which is served by Norfolk Southern. The new facility is also located next to BMW’s recently expanded 6.5 million square foot manufacturing campus, reportedly the second largest production facility in the world.
“ProTrans is proud to partner with CenterPoint Properties in the Greer market,” the firm’s Chief Commercial Officer, Shawn Masters said. “While we have had a presence for years in Greer, our new facility will bring significant efficiencies to support our growing customer base and service offerings.
In addition, ProTrans’ Nogales, Ariz. facility has moved to 482 North Mariposa Rd., Bldg. B, the company said Dec. 30.
The 50,000 sf facility, which includes 1,500 sf of office space, features 18 dock doors, 1 level dock door and generous trailer parking. The location, ProTrans said, is a quarter-mile from the International Bridge with Mexico and offers transportation, warehousing and border processing.
