PSA, COSCO Pacific open Dalian terminal
Dalian Port Container Terminal Co. Ltd., a North China port joint venture between PSA, COSCO Pacific, APM Terminals and Dalian Port Container Co. Ltd., has commenced operation with two container berths.
Two container berths under “Dalian Dayaowan Phase II” have opened in the port. The joint venture company leases and operates berths 11 and 12 berth of Dalian Dayaowan Phase II. The berths have a water depth alongside of 13.9 meters (46 feet) and a quay length of 652 meters (2,140 feet).
COSCO Pacific said the facility has a handling capacity of 700,000 TEUs a year and is capable of handling “super post-Panamax” vessels
