Purolator doubles U.S. presence
Canadian express company Purolator International said it is opening 10 U.S. branch offices during 2011, doubling its presence in the U.S. to 20 locations.
This year new offices have already opened in Atlanta, Boston, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Minneapolis, Salt Lake City and San Francisco. By the end of the year Purolator plans to set up shop in Houston, Miami and Milwaukee.
Purolator, whose U.S. headquarters is in Jericho, Long Island, said it will then have offices in 18 of the top 20 markets for trade with Canada.
Canada's largest overnight courier company, Purolator has been expanding in the United States to grow market share in the cross-border trade dominated by FedEx and UPS.
