Purolator opens new Minneapolis branch

Purolator International, a logistics subsidiary of Canada's Purolator Inc., has opened a new Minneapolis branch.

The company said its Minneapolis facility is part of 'an aggressive 2011 expansion plan,' which re-entered the U.S. market in 2001.

'This new branch location will provide Purolator with a direct access to the Canadian border and offer global supply chain solutions for area businesses that ship to and from the Canadian market,' said John Costanzo, president of Purolator International. 'Minneapolis is our fourth branch opening in 2011 so far, with recent openings in San Francisco, Boston and Salt Lake City.'

John Wilson was named Minneapolis branch manager. Before joining Purolator International, he was an international account manager at UPS, and previous to that held a senior sales manager position at DHL Express in Richmond, Va. and Minneapolis.
