Raab named president of Omnitrans

Raab named president of Omnitrans    Omnitrans Corp., a New York-based freight forwarder and customs broker, has named Markus Raab as president and chief operating officer.
   Raab joined Omnitrans in 2006 as sales manager for special projects, after spending a brief period in the logistics department of Voest Alpine in Linz, Austria, and the German Consulate General in New York.
   Hermann V. Amsz, founder and sole owner of Omnitrans, will remain as chairman and chief executive officer, and will assist Raab in management and administration.
