Ragan named senior VP at NFTC

Ragan named senior VP at NFTC The National Foreign Trade Council has named Robert Ragan to senior vice president, effective Jan. 12.
   Ragan serves as principal vice president at global construction firm Bechtel. He has served on the NFTC's board for the past 15 years. He has also been active in the Washington-based organization's Plans & Policy Committee and the State & Local Sanctions Committee of USA*Engage, a sister association.
   Following a career in the federal government in the mid-1980s, Ragan was responsible for Bechtel's worldwide procurement management and strategic planning. In the early 1990s, Ragan worked for other engineering and construction firms, before returning to Bechtel in 1993 to serve as manager of the firm's Washington office.
   Ragan succeeds Catherine Bennett at the NFTC. She recently joined Tyco International as vice president of public affairs.
