Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. However, Railserve said it would use the new resources from the acquisition to form a new division to repair, rebuild and install air brake valves and air brake systems for freight locomotives.
Spring Ridge Rail Services' former owner Johnny Davis will join Railserve as director of the new Railserve Air Brake Services division, based in Longview, Texas. Four additional employees from Spring Ridge will also join the new division.
Railserve operates in more than 65 U.S. and Canadian locations.
