Russia’s Volga-Dnepr Group has reported record performances by both its charter and scheduled air cargo operations in the first nine months of 2007.
   Volga-Dnepr Airlines achieved revenue of $491 million as the market for AN-124 charters increased 35 percent through September. The airline's share of the worldwide market for outsize and heavyweight air cargo rose 4 percent over the prior-year nine months to 56 percent, the group said.
   Scheduled carrier AirBridgeCargo Airlines' revenue for the period rose 30.2 percent to $204.1 million. ABC carried 70,500 tons during the first nine months, compared to 54,800 tons a year earlier. The increase was helped by the arrival of two more Boeing 747-200 freighters in the first quarter and the opening of new routes to St. Petersburg and Khabarovsk.
