RedPrairie signs deal with Telogis for mapping, routing software

RedPrairie signs deal with Telogis for mapping, routing software Logistics software firm RedPrairie said Thursday it has formalized a partnership with the Irvine, Calif. maker of location-based software, Telogis.
   Under terms of the deal, the Telogis GeoBase software will be incorporated into RedPrairie's suite of transportation and fleet applications.
   GeoBase is a geographic information system that provides the software core for street-mapping applications, such as those that provide driving directions based on map inputs. In addition to mapping, GeoBase provides real-time routing and scheduling.
   According to the Waukesha, Wis.-based RedPrairie, this year's release of the latest version of RedPrairie Transportation Management and Fleet Management software will include the option for customers to use the GeoBase software.
