Freight movement hearing 
U.S. Senator John Barrasso (R-WY), chairman of the Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works (EPW), delivered remarks at a transportation and infrastructure subcommittee hearing entitled, “Freight Movement: Assessing Where We Are Now And Where We Need To Go.”

Postponement of preliminary determination of groundwood paper
The petitioner cited the need to collect from the respondents supplemental information to address the serious issues raised in the petitioner’s deficiency comments. As a result, the Department will issue its preliminary determination no later than March 7, 2018.

EC approves acquisition by Lufthansa of Air Berlin subsidiary 
The European Commission has approved under the EU Merger Regulation Lufthansa’s proposed acquisition of certain Air Berlin assets, through the entity Luftfahrtgesellschaft Walter GmbH (LGW).
