CBP legislation gets referred
A bill to “increase transparency, accountability, and community engagement within U.S. Customs and Border Protection” as well as to “provide independent oversight of border security activities, improve training for U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents and officers” has been introduced and referred to the House Committees for Homeland Security and Ways and Means.

Freight legislation gets referred
A bill to amend Title 49 to establish a multimodal freight funding formula program and a national freight infrastructure competitive grant program  has been introduced and referred to the House Committees on Transportation and Infrastructure and Ways and Means.

Duty order continuation
The International Trade Administration will continue the antidumping duty order on stainless steel wire rod from India.
