The German newspaper suggests that Klaus Zumwinkel, chief executive of Bonn-based Deutsche Post, “wants to leave the company in a clean condition” before he retires in November with the sale of DHL slated for no later than May.
Earlier this week Deutsche Post announced a 600 million euros ($877 million) non-cash writedown of DHL Express assets.
