REPORT: FEDEX WILL MERGE AIRFREIGHT AND GROUND UNITS
FDX Corp. plans to merge its airfreight FedEx service with its
ground-delivery RPS operation under the FedEx name, the Wall Street Journal said Monday.
The report said FDX would also merge separate invoices for its air and ground
delivery into a single bill.
A spokesman for Federal Express said that the company could not comment on
the reported changes.
