RICKMERS-LINIE APPOINTS WOODS HEAD OF ITS U.S. OPERATIONS
Rickmers-Linie, the Hamburg-based multipurpose shipping operator, has appointed Bill Woods president and chief executive officer of Houston-based Rickmers-Linie America.
Woods was most recently vice president, commercial with Great Western Steamship Co. and senior vice president of its subsidiary Great Western Transportation Consulting.
Rickmers-Linie is currently upgrading its round-the-world liner service, with the introduction of nine new multipurpose ships.
