Ripp selected as executive director of Camas-Washougal port
Port of Camas-Washougal port commissioners Monday named David Ripp executive director of the Washington state port, effective Jan. 1.
Ripp, 41, has served as executive director of the Port of Woodland for the past 13 years. He was selected unanimously over executive selection co-finalist Patricia Stryker, a former property and development director for the Port of Vancouver.
A Camas resident, Ripp will replace the port's former longtime head, Sheldon Tyler who was fired by the board in August.
Ripp, who will oversee an annual budget of $5.56 million and a staff of 12, will earn $90,000 per year plus benefits as the head of the port.
