Boynton has ended his 28-year Coast Guard career and retired to Madison, Conn.
Boynton, who reported to New Haven during June 2004, has presided over review of the proposed Broadwater Liquefied Natural Gas facility, and the Coast Guard’s sector reorganization.
Ronan comes to his new post following a successful assignment to the First Coast Guard District’s headquarters in Boston as chief of the plans and resources division.
