RPS ANNOUNCES CHANGES IN MANAGEMENT

   RPS, the small-package subsidiary of FDX Corp., has announced several
appointments and promotions within its management team.
   Kevin M. Humphries has been named senior vice president of information
technology and chief information officer. Humphries was president and chief
executive officer of Caliber Technology Inc., which provides information
technology services to FDX subsidiaries.
   Prior to Caliber, Humphries was vice president of linehaul systems
development for Federal Express, and a former associate partner with
Andersen Consulting.
   Henry J. Maier, director of marketing, has been promoted to vice
president of product marketing and communications.
   Steven H. Taylor, vice president and general counsel, has been promoted
to senior vice president and general counsel.
   Ronald R. Trombetta, vice president of finance, has been promoted to
senior vice president and chief financial officer.
   Leland E. Holly III, vice president of human resources, will become
senior vice president of human resources.
