RSPA to hold meeting on air transport of lithium batteries    The U.S. Transportation Department’s Research and Special Programs Administration will hold a meeting in Washington Jan. 27 to solicit public comments on changes to its regulations regarding the transport of lithium batteries and cells as cargo on board passenger planes.
   An interim rule published by the agency Dec. 15, imposed limits on the air transport of this commodity.
