The Moby Dik container terminal, in the Russian port of Kronshtadt near St. Petersburg, said it handled 171,300 TEUs through the first nine months of 2008, an 18.9 percent increase from the same period in 2007.

In September, volume reached 22,600 TEUs, a nearly 20 percent increase from September 2007. Last year, the terminal handled 200,000 TEUs.
