RYDER NAMES TYNDALL EXECUTIVE VP – GLOBAL MARKETS AND SOLUTIONS

RYDER NAMES TYNDALL EXECUTIVE VP – GLOBAL MARKETS AND SOLUTIONS    Gene R. Tyndall has been named executive vice president – global markets and solutions of Ryder System Inc. He replaces Raymond B. Greer who is leading Ryder to become chief executive officer of Esurg.com, an online health care materials supplier for out-of-hospital health care providers.
   Tyndall will oversee development and implementation of Ryder's customer solutions, global account management for target industry sectors and its overseas operations.
   Tyndall has spent 20 years with Ernst & Young, leading is supply chain consulting practice. At Ryder and previously with Ernst & Young, he led sales, marketing and infrastructure development. He has also held operational logistics and management positions with the U.S. Department of Transportation, Mercer Management Consulting and General Research Corp.
