Saddle Creek and G3 partner in expansion

Saddle Creek and G3 partner in expansion    Saddle Creek Corp., a Lakeland, Fla.-based third-party logistics services provider, said Tuesday it is expanding into the Chicago and northern California markets via a strategic alliance with Modesto-Calif.-based G3 Enterprises.
   The tie-up permits Saddle Creek to utilize G3’s facilities in Chicago and Modesto, Calif., while G3 will obtain access to Saddle Creek’s campus locations in Atlanta; Ft. Worth, Texas; Charlotte, N.C.; and Lakeland, Fla.
   For Saddle Creek’s customers, installation of its SSA Global Exceed Warehouse Management System at the G3 locations will enable the G3 sites to appear and operate like all other Saddle Creek locations, the company said in a statement.
   G3 is the logistics arm of Gallo Winery, one of the world's largest wine producers.
