Safmarine names 2,474-TEU ship
Safmarine Container Lines, part of the A.P. Moller – Maersk Group, on Friday named the third in a series of five 2,474-TEU container ships at the Volkswerft shipyard in Stralsund, Germany.
The Safmarine Nile will join the U.S. East Coast/South Africa AMEX service on which sister company Maersk Line and Swiss carrier Mediterranean Shipping Co. partner.
