SalvageService.com, a Savannah, Ga.-based company, has launched an Inernet auction site for the sale of damaged, surplus or off-spec cargo for importers, exporters, insurance companies, ocean carriers, railroads, trucking lines, airlines and manufacturers.
The company was founded by Charles Williams, president, a marine surveyor for more than 23 years. He said the Internet site, at www.salvageservice.com , would streamline the process of solicitation with salvors and sellers alike.
