Salvors free Crowley barge from Va. Beach    The U.S. Coast Guard said the Crowley Maritime barge La Princesa was successfully removed from Sandbridge Beach in the southern part of Virginia Beach on Wednesday morning, nearly a week after it broke loose from its tug, Sentry.
   The tug and barge were proceeding north from Puerto Rico to New Jersey when it encountered strong winds and seas from the remnants of Tropical Storm Ida.
   A salvage crew from Titan Salvage successfully pulled the barge from the beach at around 7:48 a.m. Wednesday using two tugs pulling together on the bow and stern of the barge at high tide.
   Coast Guard, Crowley and Titan Salvage personnel worked together to remove the barge from the beach and Coast Guard inspectors and a member of the American Bureau of Shipping will survey the vessel to ensure that it is seaworthy.
   Once the survey team is satisfied, the tug Sentry will tow the barge to its planned port of call in Pennsauken, N.J.
