Samskip opens office in Vigo, Spain    Icelandic shipping-to-logistics company Samskip has opened an office in Vigo on the west coast of Spain. Its main fields of activity involve diverse fish products, both chilled and frozen.
   “The new office in Vigo is the latest move to strengthen and improve Samskip’s reefer services, following a major step in this direction last spring with the purchase of coldstore terminals from the Dutch Kloosterboer Group. In addition, we are looking at other interesting opportunities on the reefer market, for example on the west coast of the USA and South America,” said Asbjorn Gislason, president of Samskip.
   Samskip now operates 62 offices in 22 countries.
