Sandler, Travis snags Capitol Hill specialist

Sandler, Travis snags Capitol Hill specialist Trade law firm Sandler, Travis & Rosenberg has added to its stable of former government officials with the announcement that Edward 'Ned' Steiner has joined the firm as director, trade and legislative affairs.
   Steiner will help clients lobby Congress and the executive branch, and provide guidance on trade policy initiatives.
   Prior to joining the Miami-based firm, Steiner worked for six years on the staffs of Reps. Loretta Sanchez and Sam Farr in the House of Representatives. He served as Sanchez’s legislative director, where he developed and oversaw the implementation of her agenda as chairwoman of the House Homeland Security subcommittee on border, maritime and global counterterrorism. His areas of responsibility included transportation, appropriations, budget and taxes. He worked on international issues and trade under Farr.
