Saudi Airlines launches OAG Route Mapper    Saudi Airlines Cargo has signed a contract to become the first air carrier to deploy OAG Cargo's new Route Mapper product.
   Aviation data company OAG said the application will help the airline's cargo customers perform a series of daily business tasks, including searching online for flight and flight-related information, identifying non-stop and connecting flights using a visual global map of cities served by the airline, and viewing timetables of all available flights from a chosen city for all routes served by the airline.
   Starting April 1, the first phase of the rollout will see the generic Route Mapper product implemented. This will incorporate the use of local language (Arabic), customized branding, future schedules and full integration into Saudi Airlines Cargo's Web site.
   OAG expects to develop further cargo features and benefits to enhance the Route Mapper product and is already discussing future phases of development with Saudi Airlines Cargo.
   'We see this as the beginning of a long and successful business partnership with a strong global carrier,' said Bart-Jan Haasbeek, OAG's vice president of sales, in a statement.
   Via its hubs in Jeddah and Riyadh, Saudi Airlines Cargo offers connections to 85 destinations in Saudi Arabia, Asia, Europe, Africa, the Middle East and North America.
