The bulk of Saudi Arabia's cargo is handled at the Red Sea port of Jeddah, where volume rose 23.9 percent to 3.8 million in 2010. The second-biggest port, Dammam, on the Persian Gulf, recorded growth of 8.6 percent to 1.4 million TEUs.
