Savi Technology names Kramer senior VP of marketing, strategy

Savi Technology names Kramer senior VP of marketing, strategy    Sunnyvale, Calif.-based Savi Technology, a provider of active radio frequency identification-based supply chain services for commercial and government organizations, has appointed Bob Kramer as its senior vice president of marketing and strategic development.
   Savi was earlier this year acquired by Lockheed Martin Corp., the world’s largest defense contractor, for which Kramer served as director of MILSATCOM Programs.
   Savi’s tracking systems are used by the U.S. Defense Department and NATO, as well as defense agencies in the United Kingdom, Denmark and Australia to track military shipments and inventories around the world.
   Kramer will now look for business synergies between Savi and Lockheed Martin, as well as developing brand awareness, market strategies and business opportunities, Savi said.
