SBA names Butts regional administrator

SBA names Butts regional administrator    The U.S. Small Business Administration has named Cassius Butts to regional administrator for its Region IV, to oversee the federal agency's programs and services in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee.
   Butts spent the past 10 years with U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development as a presidential management fellow. Previously, he served as a department manager with a national financial institution and served in the executive office of local government. Butts is one of three chiefs responsible for marketing, sales and management of HUD's properties within the region.
   For the past five years, he has also worked as a visiting professor at DeVry University's Keller Graduate School of Management in Cobb County, Ga.
