Klausing, a 30-year industry veteran, will be based at SBS’s Chicago office. “He will play a key role in implementing our global business development plan and ensuring that we meet growth targets in our Midwest region,” said Lars Kloch, U.S. managing director for SBS.
SBS’s former regional vice president of operations in the U.S. Midwest, Andrew Poll, will now become regional vice president business development for this region.
U.K.-based SBS said the appointments are part of its U.S. business restructuring to “drive enhanced flexibility and bespoke services at a regional level.” To support the new structure, additional regional vice presidents for business development and operations are in the process of being appointed, the company said.
