Schenker adds flights to Chicago, Atlanta, and Houston

   DB Schenker Logistics said this week it is introducing new airfreight routes between Europe and North America.
   The new flights, operated with Boeing 777 freighters, will connect Luxembourg with Chicago and Toronto, while another flight will connect Luxembourg with Atlanta and Houston.
   “Our new flights enable us to offer shippers secure capacity on interesting routes,” said Thomas Mack, senior vice president, global air freight, at Schenker AG. “We implement the complete chain from door-to-door, with pre-carriage and onward carriage through our integrated networks, via our Euro hub in Luxemburg and our network in North America.”
   Flights will depart every Sunday from Luxemburg to Toronto and Chicago and every Wednesday and Saturday to Atlanta and Houston. Last year, DB Schenker Logistics introduced a new direct air freight connection between Amsterdam and Chicago departing every Wednesday and Saturday.
   The company said it offers some 1,000 direct and charter flights per year.
