SCHENKER AG APPOINTS SCHUMANN CIO
Schenker AG Essen, a subsidiary of the logistics group Stinnes, has now completed its reorganization by appointing Peter Schumann chief information officer and appointing him to Schenker's board of management.
Schumann, who is CIO of Adam Opel AG, will begin his new assignment on Dec. 1. He will oversee e-solutions and information technology, which have been combined into a single corporate department as a board-level function.
