Schenker said the new unit will be a one-stop shop for land transport, air and sea freight and all associated logistics services.
The combined operations will employ about 1,000 people with an estimated annual turnover of euro 180 million.
Theo C. Damen, chief executive officer, and Frithjof Schafer, chief financial officer, will form the management of Schenker in the Netherlands.
