SCHENKER OPENS BASE FOR AFGHAN SHIPMENTS
Schenker, the logistics subsidiary of Stinnes, has joined with long-term partner Cargo Express International to open a base in Peshawar, Pakistan to handle freight into Afghanistan.
Peshawar is located near the Afghan border.
'Demand for transport solutions to and within Afghanistan is growing as aid organizations and businesses step up their efforts to provide help in the reconstruction of the country,' Schenker said.
