SCHENKER OPENS SITES IN RUSSIA, MACEDONIA
Schenker, the forwarding and logistics group, has opened an air freight office at Sheremetyevo airport in Moscow and established its own subsidiary company in Macedonia.
The branch office of Schenker Russia at Sheremetyevo airport provides services ranging from import customs clearance, delivery within Moscow city and the Moscow region, and export handling to bonded transit by truck in Russia.
In addition, it offers bonded transit by air freight to a range of destinations, including Arkhangelsk, Vladivostok, Ekaterinburg, Irkutsk, Kaliningrad, Murmansk, Nizhnyi Novgorod, Novosibirsk, Omsk, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky and St. Petersburg.
The new subsidiary company in Macedonia, Schenker DOOEL, provides a further link in Schenker’s network in the Balkans and is integrated into the company’s global organizational structure, Schenker said.
Transport activities, especially land transport by road and rail, will be controlled from the capital city of Macedonia, Skopje.
