The terminal is an extension of existing warehouses at the logistics part. Schenker said the terminal links international operations and national distribution, and offers direct access to a warehouse. The terminal operates 24 hours a day.
The facility is equipped with barcode readers and label printers. It features 14 moving platforms and a total 1,000 square meters of floor area.
The Schenker logistics park in Riga has been certified by the Technology Asset Protection Association for securing theft-endangered goods.
